Coach

I played volleyball for 10 years, including 5 years of club volleyball and a year of collegiate volleyball. This is my 4th year of coaching at Elevate where I have worked with 11s-17s. Coaching philosophy: I am a firm believer in Philippians 4:13. When it comes to volleyball, the sport is 90% mental and 10% physical. Therefore, you can have all the skill in the world, but without a great mindset, how far will you go? I strongly believe in coaching athletes in both skill and mentality. An athletes mentality and ability to work with a team, will stay with them far longer than their skill. Therefore, I emphasize the importance of team work and positive attitudes. In my free time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.

I've been part of the club volleyball world for many years—it's not only where I found my passion for the game, but also where I met my husband, Courtney. We've been together for nearly five years, and now we're raising our son, Gio. I've been coaching for nearly 10 years now. I started by head coaching all three middle school teams and served as a varsity assistant at Texoma Christian, where we made it to state during my season there. For the past 7 years, I've focused on coaching club volleyball, and I absolutely love being part of the Elevate family. My coaching philosophy is simple but powerful: develop, compete, dominate. I believe in creating thoughtful, intentional practice plans that help players grow not just in skill, but in their understanding of the game.

I had the opportunity to play two years of Division I volleyball at Hofstra University, where I grew not only as an athlete but as a teammate and competitor. This is my second year coaching, and I bring a high-energy, positive approach to everything I do. I’m passionate about helping players level up their skills, build confidence, and truly enjoy the game. For me, it’s not just about what happens on the court—it’s about developing strong, resilient individuals off the court too. I’m all about creating a fun, competitive environment where players feel challenged, supported, and excited to grow every single day.

I began my volleyball journey right here at Elevate—back when it was still known as CCSA—and played on top-level teams from my 12s through 18s seasons. I continued my career at McMurry University, where I played all four years as a setter/right side at the NCAA Division III level. As a recent graduate, I bring firsthand collegiate experience and a deep passion for athlete development to the Elevate program. During my time at McMurry, I gained valuable insight into the recruiting process and what it takes to compete at the next level. My favorite part of coaching is witnessing growth in every area—mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual—throughout the season.
